WINTERBORN Signs With MASSACRE RECORDS

September 7, 2006

WINTERBORN, the self-proclaimed "coldest Finnish heavy metal band," has inked a deal with Massacre Records. The group's debut album, "Cold Reality", is scheduled for release in Europe on November 10 (distributed in the USA by Century Media and The End Records). The group has also signed a deal with Studio57 and Supersounds for the album's Finnish release.

"Cold Reality" was produced at Studio57 in Alaveteli, Finland by the band's guitarist Pasi Vapola, was mixed by Vapola and Pasi Kauppinen (REQUIEM, SILENT VOICES, MENTAL CARE FOUNDATION) and was mastered by Björn Engelmann (IN FLAMES, RAMMSTEIN, SOILWORK, WITHIN TEMPTATION) in Stockholm, Sweden. The album's first single, "Wildheart", will be available via the official WINTERBORN web site, www.winterborn.info, beginning in early October.

WINTERBORN has uploaded several samples from "Cold Reality" at this location.
